Not everything you want is in the shop today. Through our network of makers, jewellers and dealers we can search for watches, stones and pieces on your behalf.
The finding service covers a particular pre-owned or vintage watch, a loose diamond or coloured stone for a bespoke piece, a specific style of antique or vintage jewellery, or something practical such as a replacement stone or a single earring to match one you already have.
Tell us as much as you can. For a watch, that means the make, model and any reference number, the condition you would accept, your budget and when you need it. For a stone, the colour, shape, approximate size and budget, and what it is for. For a piece of jewellery, a photograph or a description of the style and period.
We ask our contacts and tell you what we find, with the price, before anything is agreed. Some things turn up quickly; others take time or cannot be found at all, and we will say so rather than keep you waiting.

Sapphires, rubies, emeralds, diamonds and less usual stones for a bespoke ring or pendant, chosen with you before they are set.

Can you find a specific watch for me?
Tell us the make, model, reference and the condition you would accept, and we will ask our contacts. We will tell you what is realistic for your budget before we start looking, and we will not pretend to find something that is not available.
Can you source a diamond or sapphire for an engagement ring?
Yes. Describe the colour, shape, size and budget, and we will look for suitable stones through our network. You see the stone in the shop before it is set, and the ring is then made to your design through our makers.
Is there a charge for the finding service?
Ask the shop before we start looking. What applies depends on what you are after and how much searching is involved, and we will explain it at the outset.
How long does it take?
It depends on how unusual the request is. Some pieces turn up within days, others take weeks, and a few cannot be found. Tell us your deadline and we will be honest about the chances.
Do you buy watches as well as find them?
Tell us the make and model when you call. Some watches we can help with directly; others are better placed with a specialist, and we will say so.
