Engagement rings, wedding bands, eternity rings, pendants and pieces made around a stone you already own are the commissions people most often bring to us.

Visit our Caversham shop with photographs, sketches or a piece you already own. We can explore what may be possible and discuss your budget and timing before you decide how to proceed. Nothing is made until the design, cost and timescale have been agreed with you.

Pieces are made through our network of makers and jewellers, so the right craftsperson works on your design, and stones can be found through our finding service. We stay your single point of contact from the first idea to the finished piece.

Do I need a finished design?
No. Bring what you have, whether that is a sketch, a photograph or simply an idea. The first step is a conversation about what you would like.
Can you make a bespoke engagement ring?
Yes. Engagement rings, wedding bands and eternity rings are the pieces people most often ask us to make. Tell us about the person, the budget and any stone you already have, and we can talk through settings, metals and timing.
Can I use a stone from existing jewellery?
Bring the piece to the shop so we can look at it. Suitability depends on the stone, its condition and the design you have in mind. We can discuss the options after seeing it.
How much does custom-made jewellery cost, and how long does it take?
The design, materials and work involved all affect the price and timing. Contact the shop to discuss your project, especially if you are working towards a particular date. We will not agree a design until the cost and timescale have been explained.
Who makes the jewellery?
Bespoke pieces are made through our network of makers and jewellers, chosen for the kind of work your design needs. We manage the design, the stones and the making with you from start to finish, and you deal only with the shop.
Is it better to commission a piece or buy one ready-made?
It depends on what you want. Our shop holds handmade, antique and second-hand jewellery, so a piece with the character you are after may already be here. If it is not, a commission lets you choose every detail. We are happy to show you both before you decide.
